1979 : Maurice LOMBARD and Jean-Claude VASINA join forces and create a framework and roofing business installed near Briançon.
1981 : The two partners are embarking on the construction of chalets , with a global approach : realization of plans, engineering, manufacture , installation of the structure and interior wooden elements. Their asset : the bespoke manufacture of beams chalets in Red Cedar, wood not used in the High Alps at that time. The concept is a success, Lombard Vasina continues to grow ...
1989-1990 : The company is developing with the construction of a carpentry workshop for a total control of all phases of construction. The workshop is fully equipped with machinery and equipment at the edge of technology.
2000 -2004 : Lombard Vasina passes at computerized design with the Cadwork software. An advanced that allows greater precision design and better visualisation of the future chalet, for customers. This technological breakthrough is followed by the purchase of a computer numerical control (CNC) machine : The K2 (The first in the Hautes Alpes !), used for cutting timber.
2005 : New construction method. Lombard Vasina gradually abandoned the realization of planks chalets to move to the post - beam. The massive wooden structure allow to answer the new expectations of customers, offering more architectural freedom, including the ability to have large openings. The interior spaces are airy and the living comfort is improved.
2007 : New offices. Initially separated into two small chalets, the buildings located a few kilometers from Briançon were positioned together to become a single chalet.
2012 : The carpentry workshop continue to get modernise, with investment in a more efficient joinery machine, to manufacture windows in accordance with the RT 2012.
2014 : The beginning of a new story.
A new story
Jean-Claude Vasina retires and Maurice LOMBARD takes the entire business with pride. Always animated by a passion for drawing and creating, Maurice is, in 36 years of existance of the company, behind the design of more than 700 chalets.
2016 : Investment in a new computer numerical control cutting machine. A gain of precision in the stairs, doors and furniture bespoke manufacture.
2020 : Construction de 1300 m² d'atelier dédié à la charpente, à côté de l'atelier existant, en remplacement de celui-ci. L'atelier est équipé de machines neuves : K2 industry pour le taillage des bois, ligne de fabrication de panneaux Mach Diffusion, ponts roulants...
2021 : Achat de deux grues, l'une remplaçant notre manitou télescopique. Avec un peu plus de capacité et de précision de commande, elles offriront du confort aux utilisateurs.
